Hotel Luciani - Location

Why stay in a Hotel Rome Termini Station
Staying in a Hotel in Rome Termini Station is convenient for many reasons: in the first place because you are already in the historic centre of Rome, but the rates for Hotels near Termini are decidedly better than those in other areas only a few minutes away, for example the very famous Piazza di Spagna. All year you can find shops of all types, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and chemists open from 7 in the morning to 10pm. A few years ago this part of the Termini Station in Rome, for us the most beautiful and modern in Italy, became a large commercial centre thanks to numerous improvement and modernisation operations which took place over the years.

Transportation at Rome Termini
The Luciani is one of the nearest Hotels at the Termini Station (only 30 meters), the only place where you can catch the underground lines A and B, from where you can get to all the major places of interest in the city. For those who don’t like the underground, no problem: at the Piazza dei Cinquecento, in front of the station, there are about 30 bus and tram lines that take you everywhere without having to take the underground, and this is the solution we personally recommend, because during the ride you can admire the wonders of Rome. Our Hotel in Rome Termini Station, will be happy to supply you with all the information regarding public transportation, in addition to train schedules and prices.

Parking at Rome Termini
Moreover, the Hotels near Rome Termini enjoy another important privilege, especially for those arriving by car: here you can park anywhere. In fact, even though we are located in the historic centre of Rome, the area around our hotel at Rome Termini is not a traffic restricted zone because of the station. In the whole area there are blue lines where you can park your car, totally safely, at a cost of about 5-7 Euros a day during work days and free during holidays. For those who need to park in a guarded car park, you can use our agreed garage located a few minutes away on foot, at a maximum cost of 25 Euros per day. Even as far as safety goes, there have been notable improvements; in fact, contrary to gossip we sometimes hear (even from those who have never been here) this is one of the most monitored areas, by both closed circuit cameras, set in the entire station area, where the Hotels at Rome Termini are located, and by Carabinieri and Police patrols who watch over the tourists and residents day and night.
